I think it's the dog... not the kid. Maybe the dog turned into the polar bear? If the damn mutt shows up in camp with a knife wound, we'll know.

Anyway, I love this show. The chunky guy is funny as hell... "Pee on my foot, dude. Ya gotta pee on my foot!"

Anyone watching tonights finale? I found a few pieces of info on tonight's episode:

- We'll get to see a tiny piece of the monster
- We'll get an idea of where the transmission is from
- We'll see lot's of the raft at sea and something shocking will happen
- Danielle will say something important in the third to last scene
- The final half hour is full of hidden references to the lottery numbers
- Not everybody may be coming back next season

So what did you guys think of the finale? I thought they did a great job as far as making people want to come back to watch the next season.
 
Ummm yeah, that's why I went to bed pissed, LOL. Not much was answered, if you ask me.

Where did the others come from?
What in the hell is the monster?
What's in the hatch?

etc, etc, etc
 
I'm not a huge Lost fan (although I have watched the majority of the episodes). That finale was LAME. Oooooh, an open hatch that leads into a hole. Gonna have to wait until next season to see what's down there. And, what the hell was up with those guys who took the kid? ???

******WARNING - Las Vegas Season Finale Spoilers BELOW*******
















Compare the Lost finale with Las Vegas finale. Now that is a cliffhanger. Sam quits, Nessa is off to London (we also find out her dad is still alive), Mary is off to Hawaii, and the freakin' Montesito is BLOWN UP. That is a season finale at it's finest.
 
The folks that took the kid were "the others". The fire on the beach was to lead them back to the island.

The monster thing was creepy. It did answer how the trees got uprooted though and now we know the "island security system" comes from under ground. It left me wanting more, which is what they want...I'm hooked!

I've never seen a full episode of Lost, and since I'm overseas the timing iis atrocious. I have seen a partial episode once - the Korean guy was attacking the Black guy with the kid because he thought he had stolen a watch or something. The thing I liked best was that the Kroean couple speak alot of Korean (which is one of my foreign languages) and I can actually follow the conversation and tell when the subtitles are wrong. I'd love to see the show, but since I haven't seen a full episode and can't get it regularly I'll have to wait for the DVDs (unless I can convince someone with it recorded to burn me a set <grin>)

Finally got the DVDs. We're hooked. Watched 10 episodes so far. I hadn't realized it before but I know both of the Korean actors from previous movies I've seen in Korea. Love the show and trying not to burn through the episodes too fast.

I'm still Lost, but I'll be watching it every week :D
 
I watched may'be the first 3 episodes and then I missed it 2 weeks straight :( After that, I tried to get back into it but I was lost ( :laugh: ) because the storyline change so damn much!
 
In an interview the producers said the following

* The survivors are not dead or in purgatory.
* The survivors are not in a dream or in someone's head.
* The island is NOT manifesting people's thoughts and fears

So how does that fit in with everybody's theories?

It blew all mine to hell!

Love this show even though I have no idea what's going on!

The fact that QUARANTINE is printed on the INSIDE of the hatch is a head scratcher too.

Could it be an island of doctor moreaou type scenario. The guy did say he was training to run around the world. What the heck could that mean.

I wonder why he only ran as far as the island and where did he get all the equipment in his Quarentined bomb shelter or what ever the hell it is. So many questions and each answer just asks another question. Won't know about the kid untill the 4th episode this season I hear.
