A very rare cigar indeed

haha -- you have to take pictures using the Jaws of Life to extract the cigars... just don't screw it up, otherwise they are toast! :)

If we can cut apart a car, around a child trapped inside... I think we'll get the cigars out ok. They may be toast to start with (does concrete expand?!?) but it'll be fun- air chisels, Hurst spreaders (Jaws of Life), Hurst cutters, K12 rescue saws (with concrete blade no less!), hydraulic RAM bars... oh yea baby. If a Railroad Tanker car, armoured car, and a semi truck can be torn apart, no little concrete 'bomb' is gonna slow us down!

Since Photobucket now has a video uploading area, I may just have to take my digital video camera to work...

Who's in for a massive bulk purchase? Who knows, if the order is large enough, maybe Free Shipping?

Concrete does expand a bit when it dries, but not a whole lot, and I did put a little air in the bag to give it some leeway. I bet they will be fine, if a little "box-pressed" :)

Thats it Moki, give them a lil hope... this is going to be great

tossing the pet in the furnace WILL kill the fleas just as the jaws will pulverize the brick. This job calls for finesse!

I beg to differ... they can be a wildly effective and yet gentle tool in the right hands... you'll see! I'm formulating a plan as I sit here sweating my arse off (but it's a DRY heat.... )

HAHAHA!! nice one man. One of the funniest things I've ever seen. Its a good way to hide cubans too.

I could get them out very easily. Having worked on a German construction crew for over 7 years, I already saw the easy way out that Moki put into his packaging.

Due to the way the bag is layered between the concrete, it is a simple matter to place the brick in a vise and hit it on the longer side with a chisel until it breaks down the middle, the air pocket and plastic will insure it cracks there.

You could also place the brick on a rubber or foam sheet (to prevent contact vibration) and use a hammer on the outside edge and corners until you had the plastic of the bag and then use the chisel to split the brick from the side without damaging the cigars.

This is no problem. Just find someone with a 50 ton or greater press and start eating away at one edge until you hit plastic and then do another until it opens.

Wow Swissy you really set Moki's evil mind to work. Good job guys, this escalation can only lead to more humorous hijinxs for the rest of us to enjoy. Can't wait to see LOTS of pics of the sticks being removed.

LOL...
This should be fun to watch.
We’ll need some pictures of the extractions.

Holy crap! Moki, that is f'n brilliant. Now, I'm already thinking of ways to outdo it. Like those bar-puzzle-like contraptions around a bottle of wine...but for cigars....
I can't WAIT to see how those are extracted!

or a hydrualic Hurst tool capable of 35,000 pounds of pressure! :whistling: or possibly eating at the corners with the Hurst cutting tool...

like I said, in the right hands, any tool can be a real asset!

I'll see if I can get some video of this... at the very least a number of photos. Won't be until Sunday however, so I can use the guys on my own shift to help out.

way ahead of ya guys...

BTW, Andrew... how was the beer? LOL
