No different than any other personal item claimed lost for a covered peril. You supply receipts, photos, video, manuals, anything that can show you in fact owned it.

As a good idea, I recommend everyone photo and video everything in your home of value and update it regularly. Best if you can store it on the cloud i.e. http://box.com in case of fire and everything is gone.
