Was Jayne Mansfield alive when that was built? I know it's photochopped, I was just wonderin'.

It's a photoshop some guy did, I guess. It was in my inbox and figured I'd give Bill a peek at the car, since we know he could care less about the girl. And, it's not Jayne Mansfield. Some chick with the last name Dors......

Damn, Diana Dors goes back to the 30's. I'd say that one is 40's era though.

OOoooooooooo BABY I am sooooooooooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's a 1956 or a 1957 XKSS HOLY MOMMA :0 :0

Steve McQueen had one of those, they followed the "D" type. Only a few hundered were made. There was a fire in the Jaguar factory in 1957 that destroyed quite a few of them that were on the assembly line.

If you can find one, they'd go for about $1,000,000.00 :0

Did someone say there was a girl somewhere in the photo ??? ???

Here's another picture of one:

You can definitely see the E-type lurking under there somewhere. Just needs to go on a diet. (The car, that is. The girl is fine as is. :D )

Man, Bill must have been genuinely excited!

HUNDERED?!?

Yup, somewhere around there. I know that by 1966 I was lusting after one until the local dealer took me back into the shop and showed me a coupe that had been waiting for a windshield for SIX months!! :0

Then he tried to sell me an Alfa, then a Griffith. I'm still not sure if he was being nice....

But the big iron got me: '66 GTO, black vinyl over maroon. Boy, I miss that car.....

(Yes, still. Us old farts got long memories. Not good, mind you, but long......_
