I'm definitely interested, just depends on the time and place. It's a 2 hour drive for me with early work on Monday so I'll keep on eye on the thread and see how it ends up !! :D
 
Count me in for a DFW herf, but please try to keep it closer to the center of the MetroMess. There are a few of us over here in the center of the area.

The 28th is going to be an awesome day to have it. I think there's 7 NBA games as well as the final week of the regular season in the NFL. For sports loving cigar folks, this will be utopia. :D

Actually, when I get home from work tonight, I'll post a link to the funniest golf bit in the world. Robin Williams from his Live on Broadway show a few months back. It is the FUNNIEST hot sports opinion regarding golf I've ever heard. :thumbs:

Oh and, anyone got a spare room or you guys gonna make me get a hotel for two nights?

I can get a non-stop flight and arrive Saturday night @ 9:00 p.m. and leave Monday evening @5:30 p.m. all this for $480.00. BAD time of year to travel, as the prices shouldn't be that high but what the heck, it's only money, right?

I dunno if I'm really THAT serious about coming down, probably just more like wishful thinking at this point, BUT ya never know!!
 
We may be doing this after the first of the year, CC ... I'd say especially if you are going to fly down for it, because it'll make it cheaper for you, since prices go way, way down in January.

What does everyone think??

I once was... until I moved down to Austin. The sports station here is decent, just not quite the flavor of the Ticket. :)
 
Hey Horse, you are closer to the Middle of the PLEX than I, do you have any suggestions of a good place for a herf?

I agree With JG, it should be closer to Ft Worth area, since there are just a few of us in Dallas Area going, and all others are west of me, Richardson may not be best idea?
 
The Rest. right next door to the smoke shop in Grapevine was very Cigar friendly. As I recall, same family opened the Rest. that runs the store. IMHO, it would be fairest meeting point for DFW.
