A humidor 27+ years in service

In December 1996 I won $300 in a football pool and used the nearly all the winnings for a Diamond Crown Jamestown by Reed & Barton. It was the first humidor I owned that wasn’t a mason jar. Back then our rent was $700 a month, so $275 a MINT for us. To use the money for a humidor made me realize how important cigar smoking has been in my life and how much enjoyment cigars have given me over the years. It has held the cigars I was given to celebrate our wedding as well as the cigars I bought to celebrate the birth of both our girls. Almost 28 years later it serves as overflow from my cabinet humidor now, but it still holds humidity like it holds memories. ☮️

I love that you still have the paper receipt.
LOL! That's what prompted this post. I was cleaning out my cigar/pipe hutch and found it. Brought back some great memories.

I wish I had the receipt or packing slip for my Aristocrat. I have the documentation but I was trying to figure out when I got it and how much I paid for it.

If you look inside the door, Bob signs it and will put the year. That at least narrows it down for you a bit.

I emptied it and I didn't see anything but "MINI" written in chalk on the underside of the top. The only place I didn't think to look was the underside of the bottom.

That sucks. He signed mine just inside the right hand door towards the bottom shelf.
But I got the giant one I could fit into if I removed the shelves.
