You smoked you first cigars while playing these guitars. Happy 4 year Anni!
LOL! Spoken like a Gibson purist... And these both have real MOP inlays.Aside from faux pearl inlays...
Could it be the some abnormally long scale length, maybe 25 1/2"?
Fish
Both guitars are 20-21 years old?
Charvel 750XL Professional 1988-89
Carvin DC200 1988-89
Happy anniversary!

Good eye! They have been correctly ID'd, and there is something else they have in common I'm looking for.
Half true, since I don't own the Charvel. On second thought, my playing is so bad, that was a true statement...You can't play either of them.
Only the Carvin is neck-through. The Charvel is a set neck.I will say they're both neck-through solid body designs?
Correct, but not what I'm looking for. Both have locking nuts and a Floyd Rose (or imitation) Floating Tremolo bridge.
Nope, these are standard humbuckers and they aren't basses. They both have stacked humbuckers?
or
They are both 6 stringed bass guitars?
The Carvin is maple. The Charvel is mahogany with a maple cap.Lol, I got nothing. I named the guitars.
Umm.. they are both made of maple.
While many folks chase the elusive 750xl, the strat-bodied DC200 is much rarer. Both of these have floating bridges.First of off Amazing guitars!
There is quite a bit of history and people trying to find the Charvel.
My guess is they both have a fixed bridge.
The Charvel was made in Japan. The Carvin was made in the USA......ummmm both were made in Japan?
