I heard of this and want to try it here. Passes are scarce during the
summer because of the elements, cigars sitting in a truck for a day or
so in the heat is not ideal. So here's the skinny: I post list of
cigars, you post your puts and takes, they're approved, you mail them to
me along with a return label from me to you, I mail you your takes.
This is a pass without the box, hence virtual.



The advantage is that the cigars are only shipped twice for a few days
at a time. The disadvantage is that you miss the fun of opening a huge
box of cigars and seeing them, which is part of the fun. It should move
at about the same rate. As soon as I receive your puts, I mail your
takes, and the next guy post his potential puts/takes. If the USPS is
handling priority the way they should we will have a three or four day
turn around. Also, if the next guy up is unable to ship at his turn, I
can skip him and come back to him later. The whole thing should cost
you $10 and change, about the same as a traditional pass. There will be a
few times this summer that I won't be able to call on the next guy as
quickly as I would like but those times should be limited. I'll be out
of commission the last of June/first of July and for a week in
September. But I'll manage those times and call on the next guy a few
days before I'm back so as to keep it moving, but that happens in a
traditional pass as well. It may not last until September. We'll see.



This will be mid range, premiums and httf stuff. I've been blessed with
some httf/discontinued stuff in trades lately and some of those will
make their way onto the list. Puts and takes should be of equal value.
I'll be the last word for approval, and I won't hesitate to ask for help
if I'm unfamiliar with a cigar, that way all is fair. I have some CC's
that I'll include and will rely on the wisdom of others as to what is
fair when it comes to those. And, because I know many of you won't be
able to help yourselves, I'm planning for BOTL math. At the end of the
pass, whatever is extra, not a part of your puts, will be auctioned off
and the money will be donated to BOTL. The winners will send the money
to BOTL, E or BradMC will let me know it arrived, and I'll ship the
winnings. Depending on what we get, it may be one lot or a few.



The pass will commence on 5/29. I'll be out of town that week and don't
want to start before then. I'll post the members in random order
before then. You need to be a member for at least three months and have
at positive feedback score of at least three with no negative feedback
to play.



I'll post a list in the next few days so you'll know what you're getting
into. I don't know what all will be on there but there will be a rat, a
ffp, a no. 9 pig, a tenderloin and a B Rex for sure. Just want to gage
interest at this point. Whoever signs up first, put a 1. in front of
your handle and then keep the list going, please.

No worries dude, it's just down the street. He does this every now and then. He scans the package and walks to the door, but he's deathly afraid of the dogs so when he knocks he tries to be very quiet about it so he doesn't get the dogs in a uproar. He must of knocked and not loud enough to catch my attention.
