24 - Another season over, now what?

I finally just watched the season finale of 24 this afternoon, and what I want to know is what next? That was a pretty lame ending.

What does everyone think this sets them up for in the next season, assuming they're making one?
 
I didn't like the ending, but it is close to what I thought it would be. JMHO, if there is a next season they could report Jack (if they can save him) as being dead and use that to their advantage.

I told my wife if I am stupid enough to watch another season of 24 to just shoot me.

It has really gotten ridiculous IMHO.

On the other hand, I would like to see the FBI agent lady in next months Playboy. :D
 
I agree man. What a let down. I was saying to my wife at the end, "They can't wrap this thing up in five minutes!" Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode making fun of the "To Be Continued..." shows.

I felt like they just ran out of time. It was unfortunate, because the other 23 episodes were really really good.
 
That was a great ending.
I was more frustrated than anything I hate having to wait an entire year for the next seasone!!


BUT:

I like the fact that they left numerous cliffhangers to be resolved next season. It gives the writers freedom to explore some great story lines for next year.

-will Jack survive? I would bet yes!
-will Kim's fine ass be back in some sort of capacity?
-what path will Renee take?
-what the hell to do with Tony?
-will Emily do serious time or will she weasel her way out of murder charges?
-will the president suffer any consequences for her daughters actions
-will Chloe finally lose it..LOL!
-will tha main conspirators be found out..what new evil plans do they have..
-will the president reinstate CTU since their servers are back u p and running? or will she create a new task force under the guidance of renee or jack?

Word is Kiefer signed on for 2 more years. So if he didnt survive, he will be a ghost.


I hated this season as well. None have compared to the first. I hope they bring CTU back. This chasing Jack who is chasing the bad guys has to go.

Yeah, they announced a while ago that he signed an extension, so I think everyone saw the ending coming and can expect him to survive . . . especially after the Dr. announced that there was an experimental procedure that might cure him. :rolleyes:

I have enjoyed some of the past seasons, but this one was pretty lame.

HA HA, I said LITERALLY the same thing, and I don't mean that in a hyperbolic sportscaster way, I mean really, word for word, I said the same thing to my wife. I also agree 100% with the red head in play boy all though I kept that thought to myself.
