This is a favorite blend of many smokers here and I have enjoyed them in the past, myself.
1/3: So this one did not start with any pepper right off the bat which was a departure from the previous 2 in this review series. This did start off with talcum powder and some vanilla. Suck it haters, it was there. Half inch in and the talcum powder goes away leaving the vanilla with a tiny bit of spice beginning to enter in on the equation.
2/3: The spice did not last long. The vanilla stayed on and some honey also joined in.
3/3: Straight vanilla and honey.
Not as complex or as many changes as I was anticipating but very nice and approachable. Medium and perfect for the mid day. I have a Birthday Box of these for my older son and will be revisiting this again in August from his 2014 box.

Great review. Your magical talcum powder is something that gets me every time. I am just curious could it be the tobacco micro remnants that are sometimes left after say using a v cut or a punch especially after dry boxing a cigar

It’s not the texture. It’s the taste.

What are you pairing with? I would get the talcum taste when I would drink an original, full-sugar Monster (green) either with or semi-shortly before I'd smoke a CC. I only experienced this phenomenon with CCs; maybe the malic acid in NCs acted as a foil?
