2008 Pepin Blue Label Lancero

Got mine yesterday...although I don't dig on the cello, it's an awesome cigar.

Al sold me an old stick when I bought the box of new ones. They are a really different cigar in taste profile. Hard for me to quantify the exact taste difference, but I enjoyed both. I think if you have the old blue lancero, it will taste distinctly different, but you will not be disappointed.

The new blue label had a peppery bite at first then mellowed, but to be fair this could be a factor of age between the old and new as well.

I like the new ones. Will bury some in the back of the humidor to let age.
