Mmmm good sticks imo. They are not my absolute favorite but definitely damn tasty and worth trying out (particularly the maximus). I know a few members here like them more than the opus x line

I've never heard of "Diamond Crown Maduros"

Diamond Crowns are a natural wrapped cigar and Diamond Crown Maximus are a wrapped with a dark natural sungrown leaf.

I've seem em at the Tinderbox in Memphis. CI has em in stock now in the #4, #6, and the #7.
 
Sounds like a pretty good deal beings that I've yet to smoke most of those. Might make a great birthday gift for me since its in January. (hint, hint, nod, nod, wink, wink) --> that was pretty much directed at Marc. Here's a question to throw out. Since I pretty much qualify as a newbie, which is more worth my while, buying a deal like this, or partaking in a newbie cigar trade (which I hear is pretty much the informal initiation into the vaunted CP inner circle). Comments?

Bill -

They're out there, though not super ubiquitous.

I prefer the CT shade Diamond Crowns myself, but they're one of the few CT shade-wrapped cigars I keep coming back to.
 
Just in the nick of time as my last box of PAM's are a few cravings aways from being gone. Always nice to see a great deal on Padrons. Thanks Ian, order placed.
