I will admit this is always the case with newly released cigars from Cuba. Give it some time though and these will be classic smokes.
As usual it's new so Habanos S.A. gouges on the prices. The new Cohiba
Sublimes cost wholesale a little more than a box of Cohiba Esplendidos, so the i would think the price per box at this time should be around
USD$ 575.00 to USD$625.00 a box retail. Now i am talking about prices that Authorized dealers get from Habanos directly or through a franchised distributor for a certain region around the world and then a reasonable mark up profit.
When the Sublimes do become availble in stores around Cuba their retail price would be 30% more of the wholesale price.
I think in time when these cigars become more rare they will gain in price, but for now they will be availbale for a while so i see it fair that everyone should be able to try.
