Actually replying would require that he defend himself against numerous opponents who have all memorized his un-BOTL-ly behavior. I somehow doubt that he is anything like a young cigar that, with time, will improve with age.

First of all, my words were taken out of context. I did indeed call Grapes and Jon that, but not in a mean matter. I would never say something mean like that to someone I didnt know. They were picking on me in the chat, and I said it in a joking matter. I suppose it was jumped on because at first, I came off as a know it all, and I do apologize for that. I should have got to know them better, and maybe that would have been acceptable, but it wasn't. I was wrong, and I truly am sorry for calling both of you that without meeting you first and getting to know you better. Actually, it isnt acceptable at all to call someone that, so I will never call anyone that again in this situations.

Because of Brad's request, I wont be going to the Outlaw on my birthday. I also wont be attending the Avo event or any event after that for that matter as well, cause it's clear that people do not want me there.

I never asked for anything. Not once did I ever ask for cigars. My family has truly been in a sad state, and I thought a few prayers sent our way could help a little.

The story I posted in the contest one was a joke, hence why I posted after that with the cold story. It's getting better, that's why I'm able to joke about it.

I guess I am not in the chat room enough :laugh:. Missing out on that conversation. Jon (souldog) is the last person that I would call an asshole. He helped me a lot in my very very early days. If it wasn't for him. I bet I be an Oz number 2, or a butt with a boot print showing me the door out of CP. I may agree, Oz did not ask for any stogies in thread. However, making the point that you do not want any may be interpreted in a different direction that you are trying to use reverse psychology on everyone. I would of simply, stated (after asking outlaw management first), that you are having a little get together at the outlaw, pizza and drinks will be provided by you. Anyone willing to come let me know so I know how many much food to bring. End of story.


Bottom line, (the main reason why I felt the need to post), no one should call Jon an asshole. I really hope you mean your apology, I will leave it up to Jon and the other fellow CP member on whether they want to accept it or not.

I didn't request shit! I run a business and the use of the lounge needs to be planned. I don't care if you come to Avo or any other planned event. All it would have taken was a simple PM to find out if you could have your party before you posted this. By the way I'm still curious about the financial hardship issue. Did you make that post to get free cigars from people here who are sympathic to your situation? From the sound of it you could improve you families problem by getting a job and moving out! I assume that you graduated from high school? Are you attending college? I think I saw that you said you got a job! Who hired you? The last time I saw you, you hadn't shaved or cut your hair. That was about a week ago?

I just thought that with my post, I had offended you and you didnt want me to come, I'm sorry for misjudging you.

The financial situation is basically that we are still in the process of cleaning out the old house while moving into the new one. I also have had two 2nd interviews, one at a sports store at the mall here, and another with Quik Trip over at their regional HQ in Shawnee. Yes I graduated last May, and currently am not in college til I can help everything get moved in, my start date however is in early November.

I never meant my original post to be for cigars, the 2nd posting was in jest for the thread's purpose. Also I did get a haircut and a shave about a day after I was there.

Honestly, how would I solve my families problems by moving out? I could help with a 3rd income and improve by helping pay some of the bills and help us get out of this rout, I just wanna help.

And yes, we did know she was gonna die, but she was in incredible pain, and I was very close to her. I just dont want my best birthday to also be the one where I had my last dinner with her but she was in agonizing pain and couldnt eat anything.

Here's what I would do, Oz:
1. PM or call Brad and ask him if you can have your birthday herf at the Outlaw
2. Work on repairing your reputation here. Read some more, post less. Chime in when you KNOW your information is correct. Avoid joke threads, making fun of people etc.
3. While you may be having a hard time in your personal life, after a certain point you need to keep it personal. If you continually post about how your family is having hard times and your life sucks and blah blah blah, as you've passed the point of sympathy and are simply annoying people now.
4. Act responsibly in regards to PIFs/etc, considering your financial situation it would probably not be a good idea to take part in such things, if you can't do it right then it's better to not do it at all.
5. Jon is an asshole.
