1970's RyJ Corona

Thanks for the pics & the play-by-play. An interesting read. I almost got the sense that you didn't think too highly of it - am I off in that interpretation?

Thank you for sharing this unique experience!

After watching Fetter enjoy one of these cigars so much I have been wanting another one.

I am now smoking one with some Cubita coffee. I knew it would be better with some coffee in the morning. I was sure right  . This cigar is much more enjoyable than the one I reviewed. After a few more days rest in my humidor mixed with having some good coffee to with it makes this cigar something totally different than I tasted before. I don't know, maybe the difference is that now I am just relaxing and doing little stuff instead of sitting there all intent and taking notes in order to do a good review. I certainly noticed all of the little flavors of the cigar but lost the real reason I smoke cigars -- to enjoy them not to anal-ize them. I will still do the reviews of rare cigars as I know it is part of what makes this board interesting. I love reading detailed reviews of rare cigars so I can sit there and almost imagine the experience happening to me. My Favorite rare cigar review was of a Don Candido cigar from the 50's. It was actually on another board but it made it so that a Don Candido is at the top of my wish list. I will find some of these cigars. I just don't know when or for how much, they are very rare.

This cigar is still treating me very well! Very tasty! This one is getting nubbed too.

How is this for a NUB? Did I do this cigar justice or what?

 It's like one of those food comercials that makes me drool when they come on and, I'm hungry.

That's exactly what I'm screaming about the reviews. You're taking all these notes, snapping some pics, and next thing you know you're pulling a label off. I did that recently for a cigar I can't even post here and had the same thought as you. Nonetheless, it was an amazing cigar. Good review though man, really, thanks for putting the time into it. I've got a few I need to post over the weekend and I hope folks enjoy them, cuz they are a bit of work. LOL, as if smoking a cigar could really be work.

Peace,

ts
