Kansas City / Columbus, GA Coming up

Yeah, that's it. Nice drink selection, but so-so on cigars.

Kansas City / Columbus, GA Coming up

I'll be out in KC for a week and Columbus / Ft. Benning for a week coming up soon. Anyone up for dinner or a smoke? I usually hang at Outlaw nightly in KC and not sure about Columbus. Nice speakeasy downtown, but a limited selection of smokes.

Where do I go to get a good cigar in Tuscon?

How about anything down in Sierra Vista near Ft. Huachucha? I'm going to be down there for a few weeks in Dec.

    Michiganders?

Sure you can. But you're not. I'm over in the thumb.

    Performance Review question

Yeah, I agree. I was speaking for the formal yearly reviews.

    Performance Review question

Yeah, those are shit paperwork drills to justify (or deny) promotions, not anything for actual performance.

    Performance Review question

In all seriousness, communication is huge, both with the wife and kids. You should have all of these discussions, but it should be a constant thing. Calling it a performance review or waiting until a certain time to address it, is a recipe for disaster. Both professionally in a business and at home.

    Performance Review question

You should definitely do this. Start with your wife. The best way to approach this is a two step process. The first step is updating your will. The second step is to mention this to your wife. The rest will take care of itself.

    It pays the bills..

Retired from the Army a few years ago, but still support them as a network engineer with a not-for-profit R&D company. Trying to get better on the the process of fielding yesterday's technology tomorrow at next week's prices.

Liga's are still just as good, imo.

Must Haves/Have Nots in a cigar lounge

Large TV area is nice for sports, but it's good to have an area where the TV isn't the focus. Comfortable chairs arranged for group chats is nice, plus a quiet area if you just want to chill on your phone and smoke. Free water cooler is nice, plus some pop, tea, etc for sale. Bar would be even...

    Calling the 80’s kids

Easily found them with a Google search, but I'll leave it for someone that knows. Learned the little squares on their chests were heat activated element symbols. I still don't remember them.

No idea on the armored animal things, but I remember MUSCLE.

    "circumcision" cut.

    I guess it was inevitable...

I stuck with Liga 9s and Undercrowns. All of those other special smokes, rats, pigs, etc., were always overpriced.

    Chicken breasts

At home, I'll put em in the oven under the broiler for color, usually. I was thinking more camping (glamping) where I finish over the campfire, since it's going anyhow. Blowtorch is a good idea, though. I need to acquire one. Open flame or one of those searzall type things?
