Holy sweaty balls it's hot here

LMAO! the normal is 115 degrees. Hope you all have a great day!

You too. Stay safe. I'm watching Alpha Company: Iraq Diary right now on the Military channel. Every day I think of everyone over there, and I hope that everyone stays safe and wins the next fight.

In Corpus Christi that's winter. Some people put on jackets.

It's funny what people get use to. Unless I'm on a bike or opting for a shoulder holster, the only time I'm wearing a jacket is if it dips below considerably below 40. I've seen people in Boston bundled up like nuclear winter were on the horizon while I'm wandering around comfortably in a t-shirt.

Special Weather Statement
Statement as of 4:29 AM PDT on June 28, 2009

... Hot temperatures for the central California interior into early
next week...

Strong high pressure is currently building over California today
and will continue through the early part of next week. Temperatures
in the San Joaquin Valley... the foothills of the southern Sierra
Nevada... and the high deserts of Kern County will reach triple
digits at most locations today.

Temperatures from 106 to 113 are likely in the San Joaquin Valley
and the Kern County desert today
. Today is expected to be the
warmest day with record or near record temperatures expected in
the valley. In the Sierra foothills... highs of 102 to 108 are
expected. Even Yosemite Valley near the 4000 foot level will see
highs of 95 to 100. Temperatures are expected to be 10 to 15
degrees above normal today and Monday.

Very hot temperatures are expected to continue into Monday with
only a degree or two lower temperatures from Sunday.

If you have outdoor plans this weekend... you will need to be
prepared for the hot weather. A few safety tips include avoiding
strenuous activity... keeping yourself hydrated by drinking plenty
of non alcoholic beverages... and using sunscreen. Never leave
children or pets unattended in vehicles... even for a short time.
Temperatures can quickly rise to life threatening levels... even if
windows are partially open.

Temperatures will remain above the century mark through next week
as the ridge of high pressure continues over the region. It will
remain seasonably hot through the week with temperatures 8 to 10
degrees above average.

It was not that hot here in IL but when your AC goes out and your house is 93 with 100% humidity that is holy balls hot for me. (even though I don't have any)
