Hi gang!

48 hours, 5 countries and way too long in an airplane later, I'm finally back in the USA! I'm still a few days from actually being at my house, but for now, I'm safely here in the land of grass and trees, with a cold beer and a good cigar! Thanks CP for the fantastic support while I was away. I have a million stories to tell about my time in the Middle East, and in a week or so, when I'm actually at home, I'll be able to log in and stay awhile. You can't know how much being a part of this community has helped bridge the gap to home and family. I've made many good friends, and learned a tremendous amount. A couple of my buddies are still away (Larian and Hos2), and I'll now join the ranks of folks at home doing all I can to make sure they know the home fires are burning bright.

Oh! I got official orders to Germany as my follow-on assignment! WOO HOO!

All for now. Time for breakfast (No chow hall food!), and a warm, sunny day in New Mexico!

Everyone, HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Trey

Congratulations!! I am sure you are just so pumped to be home to see your family. Thanks for your service....

Welcome home, Trey. Often times I think of your service, and then think of my 5 year old, who is safer because of your sacrifices.

You epitomize the idea of selfless service to man. For that, I am grateful.

I am honored to know you.

Welcome home Trey! Glad to see you back from the sandbox safe and sound...

Welcome home. It is one of the greatest things finally coming off the plane and knowing your back in the US. Enjoy the celebration, I know I did.

I remember the first thing I noticed when I stepped off the plane in the states was that the air in California actually smelled clean compared to over there.

Welcome back...
You're going to enjoy Germany. I had a buddy that was on Embassy Duty there. He loved it.

Welcome back! Once you are in Germany maybe you can hook up with DoubleD and Wurm.

Welcome home, Trey!!

Thank you for your service!

As for the green stuff on the ground.... is it possible you drank too much while celebrating? ;)

Welcome back to the western side of the Atlantic.

As seen on a bumper sticker: If you won't stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

Welcome home Trey, now you can shake that tiny fist from the comforts of your own home.
