I have some coming (and am very excited about it too!!) and was wondering if anybody has had the opportunity to experience one yet and what they thought?

Not yet, have a box comming as well though. I'm going to try an MK tonight, if I feel froggy I'll post a review.

Are these even out yet? I can't find a single vendor on-line or local B&M that has them. I know leaf and ale, I think that's the name, has had a pre order for them for awhile now.

Yes. Very flavorful. Very strong. Very full bodied. None of the sweetness of the Illusione line. Great mouth feel and a good finish.

Ok, I couldn't wait any longer and had to try one since I bought a box of these.

Mine are the domencios 5 5/8x46

I typically don't favor a cigar that has a lot of 'pepper' to it and this cigar definitely has that, but I must say, I really liked this stick! It definitely left my nose tingling when I blew through my nose! :D

Despite the typical windy North Dakota afternoon the burn was flawless. The ash burned a darker gray and held on for a good 3/4 inch or more. It may have been operator error but it did get hot and a little harsh with about 2 inches to go so I put it down.

Now I am usually only a 1 cigar a day smoker but I can honestly say I was tempted to torch another one and enjoy the 70 degree weather we are having some more but being that I am on an empty stomach decided against it.

I have yet to try any cigars from the Illusione line but if their profile is a bit milder and sweeter than the Cruzado I will begin my search post-haste!

I can only imagine these will get better with more time in the humidor and if that holds to be true I made a great choice in my fist box purchase!

I definitely recommend these cigars, especially if you like your smokes with a 'peppery' finish!

Big thanks to idahogn for giving me the opportunity to pick these up!

Had my first Cruzado (also a Domenicos - also from idahogn's shop) last weekend. Very nice cigar. Full bodied. As Matt mentions above, great flavors with a good finish. I really enjoyed it.

As for the Illusione, they are some of the nicest cigars on the market right now, IMO. I especially enjoy the ~68~. You might want to give Shawn (idahogn) a call on these, as he has them in stock also.

The Illusione do nothing for me. :(

Blasphemy!

Any chance we can get some pictures of these cigars? I've yet to see what they look like.

Edited to add: Nevermind, saw them on the "Latest Purchase" thread. I wouldn't mind seeing some more pics though. :)

I got my box and let them sit for a bit and had my first one last night. It wasn't a bad cigar but it didn't really move me in any way. I had tried an MK before and wasn't real crazy on that either, I guess I'm another one that the illusione's don't really do anything for. Really wish I would have waited and grabbed a 5'er instead as I'm now stuck with a box. Check the BST forum in Jan as I'll more than likely be posting the 15 I have left in my box up for sale; will finally have been here 4 months!
