Karma

I have a Fantasy Football League that we aptly named "Innocent Until Proven Guilty" and every few weeks I take a person in the news and post it to our league picture board during their trial. We've had Saddam Hussein to Bill Belichick to Phil Spector to Britney Spears.....OJ has made it quite a few times and was our poster child for the league name.

This is what I just posted to our league this morning.....

Bad Karma OJ...bad Karma....

So if he gets the life in prison sentence, how long do you guys think before he confesses to the original crimes?

F'n A-hole finally get's what he deserves! I wonder if we will see the Goldman's clapping in the audience at sentencing?

OJ lives (well, used to live...) about three or four miles down the way from me. I'm glad to hear he's finally been convicted of something, as that will hopefully prevent me from ever acting on my recurring urge to go egg his house whenever I'm good and drunk on whiskey or bourbon.

Karma is a good title to this thread.

What you put out, you will get back tenfold, both good or bad.

Make sure you get some pictures when the Goldman's pull up to his house with the moving trucks and start emptying it out!

Unfortunately, the reason he settled in Florida (other than the many golf courses on which to hunt for The Real Killer) is because it's comparatively very difficult here to go after personal property in order to settle judgments and it's impossible to go after a person's house. He kept his money offshore where the Goldman's couldn't touch it, and since his house is off limits, they've pretty much been handcuffed as far as enforcing the civil judgment against him.

What that guy did was unconscionable, he should have been ib jail a long time ago. Karma for sure!

He should have hired a better team of lawyers. ;)

This OJ trial has been big news in Vegas for the past few weeks. My six year old and I were watching the tube last night, when one of the local channels had a promo spot run featuring "the latest on the OJ Simpson trial at 11:00".

My six year old then asks me "Why does OJ Simpson keep killing those people?"

Of course I had to tell him that's what happens when you go to USC. :sign:

Actually, I told him that "he's just not a very good person" and thankfully, he dropped the subject.

strange fact-
"O.J. Simpson came out the big loser — and his unlucky number in a case full of bizarre twists was 13.

He was convicted of an armed robbery that happened on Sept. 13 and was found guilty on the 13th anniversary of his Los Angeles murder acquittal. The Las Vegas jury deliberated for 13 hours after a 13-day trial."
