So, for us CP Noobs, is there a formal buyer beware list hidden somewhere that I haven't found? Regardless, I already made my order so I'll post some pics of what they send me when it arrives.

I don't believe they are on "THE" List, but I know there have been some sketchy dealings with them in the past and some of our members.
I remember when they had outstanding deals on Padilla 1932s, almost $60 cheaper than anywhere else. I asked a very respected member here (who had previously dealt with them) if he would recommend I jump on the deal.
He said......I would not recommend it. Enough said for me to not venture into dealings with them.
I hope your buy works out great.
It would be nice that when someone warns us about a vendor, that we deal more in specifics. I have had no problem, and cigars were alweays fresh. That's not to say that I've just been extremely lucky. If there is a list, I'd like to see it, and see the reasonings behind any criticisms. I often wonder if some criticisms are from people that you just can't please no matter what you do.

You'll see comments in both of these threads supporting them and criticizing them. There have been documented issues with this vendor's packaging and storage techniques. Both which have led to unhappy purchases from members on this site.
Again, regardless, you'll see posts supporting and criticizing them. That's I why I simply say "Buyer Beware". Do as you please.

I hope Padron doesn't have quite the same jump in price. This is really going to be a double whammy to me if they go up as much as the Pepin lines are.

I thought I would report on my first transaction with Cigarplace.biz
I put my order in for a box of DPG JJ Maduro Selectos on Monday and received my order Thursday morning that same week.
Cost of the box was 129.95 + 7.55 for shipping. (most other sites listed the JJ Mad's around 180$)
Here are pics of the box I received from Cigarplace:
(it arrived in a priority mailer; the cigar box wrapped in plastic surrounded by peanuts)
Of course I haven't smoked any yet, and I would like to wait a little while. I'll post again after I smoke one. So far the only thing that has caught my attention is that the heads of a few of the cigars a bit hard. The aroma is delicious though.
