Has anyone bid and won any cigars from this site? How is it ran? Is it like a an ebay thing or is it from one company?

I plan on doing the newbie thing on this site soon but stumbled upon that site.

You've never met the devil? ???

Its ran by Cigars International.

The devil eh? I am new to all of this so the more I look around the more I find.

I can tell you this, I will have to build a coolidor sooner than later.

I use CB a ton, i win bids often.

Just remember to check your prices per stick, it's possible to pay more than MSRP if you dont do your math.
Great way to get the 'everyday' smokes ya love super-cheap, but the ultra-rare stuff seems to get overbid and inflated.

......also known as the devil's site.

It's a good place to buy some stuff, just don't jump the gun on things, be patient and you can sometimes get a helluva deal.

Walk away dude! Just turn around and walk away. Forget all about cbid and just walk away. You will get hooked and then you realize you have no more money for food and your GF dumps you and you start turning tricks on the corner streets to bid some more!!!!!!!

LMAO!!! That post made my DAY!!!

I agree with these guys, it's horribly addictive. I've been on cbid for about 3 weeks, and I'm already a 5er whore. You won't be able to say no.

I always look for something to put in my Sig, Funkycold5 your comment makes the cut!!!!

Awwww....Funky, you've got a secret admirer!!!! I should leave you two alone for a while.... :sign: :sign: :sign:

Yes very adicitive but I have never had a problem with their proucts or service. Be sure to do your research first befreo bidding. So many people on there (and other auction sites) who pay way way way too much on cigars. My general rule is never bid more than 60% of MSRP AFTER calculating in shipping.

Deals may be had my friend but appraoch as you would a sleeping dragon or you will find your self LIVING IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!

Also... check out their shipping policy. If you win multiple items, you can have them hold off on shipping them individually (saving you $).

I bid on things I want, sometimes I win, most times not. It can be a good source for "everyday" sticks or if you have no control, a place to dump your cash.

I did it once and got 10 Gurkha Beasts for 70 bucks!!!! I, like everyone else, had to walk away. I would have ended up buying a walk-in humidor if I stayed there...as a matter of fact, I think I am going there today!!!!

I had no problem with shipping, receiving, nothing and I had them shipped to Iraq. I wouldn't worry about it...just lock up your credit card.
