Ever Had A Cigar You Didn't Like?

Cigars that are not my taste are one thing. As far as cigars I would never want to smoke again:

Drew Natural Dirt torpedo-once. never, ever again.
La Vieja Habana Leather Patch(Drew)- made my mouth numb with clove spice. No flavoring my a@@.

5 vegas red... blech.

5 vegas gold... blech.

Perdomo EDS... blech.

Drew Estates "Natural"... blech.

DPG JJ Maduro... blech.

I'm sure there more of them... but I try not to remember bad experiances.

Had a CAO Italia that completly turned me off to all CAO.... other than that I had a hand full of cigars that I didn't really like but will give another chance.

I'll add another vote to the CAO America. I thought that thing was horrible.

Many of the cigars being mentioned I have not had the opportunity to try yet.... and now I may never. There certainly seems to be a common lack of taste for CAO America and Perdomo it appears. I have one Perdomo in the humi I'd like to try. The one I think that surprised me the most so far was the Fuente Short Story. Personally I just think this is a great li'l smoke.

I was given a "real" Cohíba that a friend bought on a vacation. It was real he told me, he got a great deal from a guy who's brother worked in the factory. Came in a cool glass top box...... worst cigar I ever had......

Don't let others opinions be yours, as I posted I don't care for CAO cigars. You on the other hand may love em, you have to form your own.

Good Luck bro.

Okay, I tried to drag a quote on my prev. post and had no luck. Can some explain how to drag a quote.

I love the CAO Brazilia. Don't let us saying how crappy the CAO America is influence you against trying a CAO Brazilia. The Criollo is a nice little smoke; especially in the morning.

Nat Sherman Met. (damn cigar left an aftertaste in my mouth for 2-3 days, truly)

I recently purchased a box of Oliva Special G. The first one I smoked left an aftertaste for what was easily two days. I was suprised because I've read several recommendations of them on the board. Perhaps they will improve with some time in the cooler?

Anything Camacho, except the Select line. I think the Camacho line sucks. I'm over RP cigars too, they were ok when i started but i dont care for them anymore.

I am not head over heals on RP's either. Thought "The Edge" were good when they first came out, same with OWR, but now not much of a fan. As for Camacho, I like the Triple Maduro's....they are overpriced though

Every cigar from Perdomo I have smoked has been..um...shall we say "not to my liking"

Only Perdomo I like is the Edicion De Silvio. All the rest are rockets in my book

Anything with the name "Thompson" attached to it.

Being a newb, a couple of months ago I bought what I thought was a awesome deal on their cigars. It was one of the bundle deals from Thompson. I smoked one of them and they rest are still sealed in the wrapper. I have never tasted shit, but I can only guess that these cigars come very close. Please don't make the mistake I did by buying these turds. If you want to try them for yourself, save the money, shoot me a PM and I'll mail you a free 5'er. It wont rest very well on my conscience, but if it helps someone save the money I will do it.

Ha Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only newb who did this too! Thompsons "cuban delight" is niether, I tried 4 kinds of them once, I think I still have 3 4 packs left LOL. At least I got an alluminum travel case out of the deal, you didn't miss a thing by not opening the rest. Please dont send them to me!

Next time we have a "Padronman" type come on here begging for free sticks, I'm going to bomb him back into the stone age with them. Maybe that will teach them...

I will also say I'm not a fan of RP, except for the Sun Growns.
The only Perdomo I've liked is the Habano. I thought it was actually pretty good. The rest of em have no taste.

oh yeah, I also hate AF, and Padron....ESPECIALLY PADRON! Pure dog shite! ;)

Good Luck bro.

You're absolutely right. I've never had the Americas but when I first started smoking cigars I actually liked CAO Cameroons very much, but I haven't had one in a while. I also LOVED the Criollos. When I first smoked them I thought, at that time, they were some of the best I had tasted. I think that's why I like the 601 Oscuros so much because they remind me of the Criollos.

Oh and sorry bro.... I know how to quote an entire post and delete anything out that I don't want, but I still don't know how to drag a quote or use the other quote button.

Coincidentally, a Perdomo Habano I got from a fellow botl I met here is the one I have I can't wait to smoke.

Oh yeah..... PM for an addy where you can send those disgusting AF's and Padrons. :sign:

Rocky patel Cuban Blend from CI. The worst cigar I have ever had. Tasted Chemical and like tea....and I hate tea.
