Best Superbowl ever!

Awesome game, and I'm not even a Giants fan.


I could hear Doc screaming at his TV all the way down in Virginia. :laugh:
 
Superbowl ends in a tie, goes to overtime! -- That's what would have happened, had the Pats kicked that field goal when they were on the 28 year line. Not a gimme kick by any means, but it's indoors... no wind... why not give it a shot? Going for it on 4th down and blowing it cost them the over tie game going into overtime.

I'm sad to see that the perfect season record wasn't attained... but props to Eli, if he hadn't evaded that sack in the late 4th quarter drive, and made the miracle completion... Pats win it.

Much of the game was boring and sloppy, but the 4th quarter was about as exciting as it gets.
 
Moki, you just like offense. From a defensive perspective it was pretty entertaining. The NY DEs were just whipping the crap out of the NE tackles, and NE never adjusted. I don't know why they didn't keep a TE in and double both ends.

Why did the Pats not kick a field goal, and instead go for it on 4th down? It makes no sense, and could have been a game-changer... then the Giants would be coming down field to TIE the game and send it into overtime, not win it...

I guess they didn't have faith in their kicker....
More faith in Brady.

Still the last Giants drive was a drive of HISTORY!

BTW, I was expecting some overtime action.

I was thinking the same thing. I can't even imagine having one kid play in the superbowl. They have had two kids be back to back MVP! Unbelievable!

I was very happy to see the Pats go down. Well, I guess I was happy to see Belichick lose. I kinda feel bad for the players. They just didn't have as much heart as the Giants today.

My thoughts exactly. They've been doing it all year long. I'm sure they felt they'd have plenty of shots at more points later in the game.
