Hmmm, so your all in for lashing your cash to a very large rock... flinging it over a cliff at the ocean... and hoping you hit a boat... and not water?

I look at this as entertainment, with a potential upside. Plus, I get to do it with some great guys -- kinda like fantasy football or playing nickel poker on a weekend. It's certainly no worse than blowing $40 at the craps table in Vegas -- this $40 will last longer than 10 minutes.

Neal does make a valid point, though. If any of you guys are in this to make a mint or don't understand that there is significant risk, speak up now. I'm sure you could sell you slots to others.

I get it Steve, I do, but reading through this thread I was wondering if anyone else did. I'll go even farther than "significant risk", the odds are against making money in the BB's. Stick with the low rent Nasdaq stocks, they're still risky but generally leave you with something in your pants besides your pecker.

I've talked to quie a few of the guys on the phone. I've made it clear as mud. I am NOT a broker. I don't have a magic hat to pull the next google out of. That is why everyone will be voting. We will discuss how to invest OUR fund. It's kinda like walking up to the craps table and putting money on C and E. Odds are against you and you don't put your entire bank roll out there at once. There are times to buy into a stock, and there are times to wait until it looks better. We will most likely play a few lower rent big boarders along with a few of the risky BB's.
Anyone that wants to post ideas or knowlege is more than welcome. This thread is for all to read and learn from. It's the first endeavor of this sort that I know of. So... I'm sure we will F it up and fix it a few times as we fumble and stumble towards the goal.
