The reason i buy big heavy vehicles

Glad to hear she's ok. Only 16 though eh? I have a feeling your going to have your hands full with that one.

Both of my kids decided to wait until they were 18 to drive. My daughter has learned that a car is a tool not a toy. She drives a 1966 Plymouth Belevdere. And she loves it even though it is not a beautiful car she is careful with it because it feels so big. My son is 17 and drives with me, I can see his maturity improve with age. I am not sure what he will be driving yet. Depends on his ambition to work on the VW Bug I have.

Jesus, I'm really glad your girl wasn't hurt. I'm sure she's sufficiently shaken enough by it, and it scared the crap out of you both.

Damn. I'm glad your daughter and her friend are ok. I've been there before...wrecked my car back when I was 16 too.

Damn bro, glad things are okay with the kids, I have to say I got in to an accident with my dad's car early on in my driving career. Totalled the thing being stupid.
Now I know better, and I've learned from the experience. Now I've learned to accellerate out of the turns instead of into them =)

Cheers,
Rob

Dang!! Two cars in 5 days. Wow!!

Glad she's OK but like others have said, OUCH on the insurance bill.

Ooohhhh.....

???

Add me to the "glad everyone came out all right" list, as well as the "sorry about your new insurance premium" list. Luckily, as many have said, the first list is more important.

Thankful to hear they were not injured. If you want some bit of a deterrant, have her read this: Car Wreck The older guy was a friend of mine's brother and they were about a half mile up the road when this happened on Sunday. I'm hoping for a change in the driving age before my kids get old enough to drive.

Glad to hear she and her friend were OK after that. Stick with the Nissans, they're very well built trucks!

Glad to hear everyone is alright Gator but I am sorry to hear about the trucks. My daughter is only 7months old and cringe every time I hear stories like this.

Glad to hear the kids are fine.
That is ultimately what matters.

You deserve an excellent smoke tonight.

If you don't sign, they don't drive till age 18. I did that with 2 of my 4 boys.

My prayers are with you and your family... I'm glad to hear everyone is all good. By the way, good choice on the Nissans. They are the only vehicles I will drive...

damn John... that sucks! Glad everyone is ok, but daaaaaaamn.

That's the whole reason I bought the Wifely Unit© a new car... more airbags than ever before, smart traction control, etc... After spending more time this year cutting people put of their cars after accidents than ever before, I thought it was a needed expense. I believe in the law of gross tonnage - he with the most wins! Big cars rule, and if someone doesn't like the big vehicles blocking views... well, then, but a bigger one.
