I can't understand why someone would sign up for this and not send, at least, the minimum required number of smokes. If it's a matter of money, they need to fulfill their obligations, and then quit, but to just quit sending smokes is BS!
The folks at Cigar Pool just need to follow their own guidelines/rules.
Brew, can you think of any "extenuating circumstance" that lasts for a month and a half?? I'll admit to forgetting to send my smokes until the last minute a couple of times, but I chalk that up to laziness on my part for not sending them right after the winner is announced.
Jay, ??? nothing leaps to mind. However, as you know, certain folks here on CP have "AMAZING POWERS OF SELF JUSTIFICATION" And they no doubt feel their "reasoning" is sound. And no matter what you or others say they will defend their decision to stiff the winners at CigarPool. At least that has been my experience with some of the more vocal CP folks.
I'm clueless as to who you guys are talking about. I do not condone allowing any member of CP to be above our rules; I think that has been made clear. If we have a poor trader among us, lets get this resolved now. I know that there are several (a lot) of CP members who participate at CigarPool.com. Since we have a thread dedicated to the Pool here at CP, then perhaps you guys need to step up and get this resolved. If emails are failing, then lets bring this out and get it resolved.
Again, I don't like hearing that CP allows certain members to be above the rules. This is NOT how this community is run, no matter how long you have been a member.
