"The Lamp" In My Office

and the football?
I DJ a tailgate party at Brett Favres Steakhouse for every home game, I think this past season was my 6th year there. I was given the ball by Brett as a thank you for the job I do, not that he ever sees the party as he's at the stadium at that time and quite frankly could probably care less, but his GM asked for the ball to give me as a thanks for all I do for the party. So not only is is a signed Favre ball, but it was given to me from him (via the GM of his properties) as a thank you, so it's pretty special to me.

Hmmm, that's a couple posts about the view now. I guess I never thought about it or took it for granted. I mean, there's no mountains or lakes or anything, just a highway. I will say this though, that window looks toward the west and I see some of the most spectacular sunsets ever out those windows.

Very nice pieces! The only thing I've ever built was a stand for a cracked wheel rim that I turned into my night stand. I'm pretty proud of it and when I get my own place it will be in my living room as a end table or something.

OUCH! :0

How did you crash the bike?
Coming home from Chicago, it was May 15th, about 9:00pm. Very cold, about 45 and it started raining, I had a lady riding my ass and just made the mistake of attempting to shift from the left side of my lane to the right side, as I crossed the center, I hit a patch of oil or something and being that it just started raining about 10 minutes earlier, the water hadn't had a chance to wash the oils off yet. So I got into a tank slapper, the bike went down on the right side with me on it, luckily the crash bars and saddle bags I had on at the time kept my leg safe. I did a few spins on my backside and got flipped over when I hit the rumble strips. Just had an "owie" as the Dr. called it on my foot, no broken bones, no sprains, no cuts. 65 MPH and I walked away, I was lucky.

I had a Honda Dreamer that I crashed and burn nearly the same way about 30 years ago. I was in college in Worcester at the time. I am glad you got away reasonable safe.

Very nice work Wade! Thanks for sharing. Those sort of things always jumpstarts our creativity and bringing out the tools. :)
