Killer Beans ROCKS!

I am running out! My wife is yelling at me to order more quick or else we might have to get a bag of Pete's to tide us over....

Ya think???

Hey Jim, what would you suggest for a guy who loves Tim Horton's coffee?

I would ask Jerry, but I am sure he has never heard of Tim Horton's.

I have your address, I'll hook ya up with a 2/3 cup sampler of each of the 4 types of beans I have. None of the KB's I've tasted so far will be anything like Timmys. Much stronger and fuller bodied. (fuller?? Is that a word?? Fuggit, you know what I mean).

Almost every day after work I have a huge cup of KBs made in a French Press, and on weekend mornings, I will make a pot for The Bride & I.

Cool, thanks man

My Calgary addy is in the profile.

Jerry's the man, some of the best customer service you will get.
Somehow that makes the beans taste better!!! ;)

Killer Beans rocks! When I first bought it the ole' lady gofed on me for mail order coffee. This week when we ran out I could hear her grumbling as she was grinding crap beans her boss gave her.

Slightly off topic...I have never bought whole coffee beans before and was going to get some Killer Beans for my wife as a Christmas gift, but I don't know anything about coffee grinders. Could anyone give me some recommendations for a good, but reasonably priced grinder under $100?

Thanks,
Cris

Here's the one I use. I've gone through a few different ones and this is by far my favorite so far. The bowl that holds the coffee is removable to allow easy dumping of the grinds into the coffee maker.

edit: oh, and yes .... Killer Beans do rock!

Thanks for the recommendation, I just added it to my list.

Just placed my first order about a week ago, got the beans, grided the beans, and now I am hooked. I drink a lot of coffee, but KB's helps me not drink as much as the caffine keeps me charged!!!

The taste is second to none.

My suggestion is that you find a burr grinder. Stay away from the blade grinders, especially if you want to make your coffee in a French press. The blade-type grinders will give you some powdered coffee and some coarser coffee. The fine stuff will end up in your mug. The burr grinder will give you a more consistent grind.

That's my 2 cents.
