What’s in your bag of tricks?

You bunch of pansies.

With all your fancy contraptions and cigar gear. Christ you nancy girls make me sick! :0

All I needs is a pair of teeth to rip the tip off a cigar and some flint stones to knock together and get a little fire going.

You ladies think awhile on it, maybe trim your nails some and get a facial when you go to the hair parlor :p

How about cedar sticks?

Damn, Gary, I had forgotten about that thread. Was kinda hoping everyone else had as well!

How about cedar sticks?

Well good God almighting! I thought I done heard it all now I seen grown men walking round holdin' sticks!

What the hells next. You ladies gonna walk round with your little man purses with your little cigar contraptions in clothes picked out by them Queer eye for the Straight guy fella's? :0

I tell you what, You Metro-Sex-ual's can just count me out of any of your all's communsitic Al-Quadea (Spelling Bee throwing) Queen fest held at Elton John's house!

Now I'm gonna walk this rage off a spell. Maybe go on down to the creek and watch my sister go swimming naked, cause if any man is gonna watch my sister swim naked it gonna be me :p

Wow,

How'd I miss this one.

My smoking kit is pretty simple.
1. Blazer PB-207 torch lighter
2. Davidoff twin blade guillotine

I always carry my Benchmade Mini RSK knife so I don't count it as cigar gear.

When I travel, I bring a small plastic Tupperware that's about 8 years old. Holds up to 10 churchills.

That's about it. :D

Wilkey

Call it a man-purse or whatever but I do actually have a kit for my smoking gear. My wife calls it my "heroin kit" :D

It contains my xikar cutter, a punch cutter, soft flame colibri, torch lighter, and stick matches.

Call it what you will, but I like being organized (tiny bit of OCD??) and I hate carrying all this stuff loose in my pockets, or having to round up what I need when I smoke so this worked out well for me. It all goes into a rubber outside/hard foam & mesh inside carrying case for iPod accessories that I can carry in my pocket..

That's pretty fancy Derek! You didn't strike me as the OCD type when I met you in KC. :D Nice kit, however!

err I was just joking about the man purse thing, but uh, yeah that is a fine looking man purse you got there.

not quite OCD, maybe anal retentive :p

In all seriousness, just about everything I have starts with Xi in the realm of cigar extras

It's all good! It works well, and I had the case extra from my ipod. I had originally looked for a nice little leather type case but found nothing. I improvised..

Cigars+butane lighter.

Usually bum a cut off my friends as I rarely smoke at home.

A cheap-o cigar cutter (dble blade, but came with my humidor)
a Dupont Xtend or i11 Corona Old Boy (but only the Dupont now that I'm in Europe)
peanut butter

I got a otter box for transporting my zippo with z-plus insert while I fly. I took the foam out of the back side and replaced it with the foam from the inside of a xikar cutter box. It fits perfect. I keep my mastadon ivory handled Xikar and my Dupont under the counter at the shop!

I have a small but very useful bunch of tools for smoking....

Cutter - Xikar. Sure, there are lots of others, but once I got this, I've never wished for something "better". Cuts clean, every time, no worries. It's a dandy.

Band Removal Tool - I'm one of the weird guys that likes to remove the band before I smoke. I have a teeny little Swiss Army Knife that's about key fob sized. I considered it a toy until I found that the very small, sharp, thin blade on it is absolutely perfect for slipping under the edge of bands to remove them, without making a ding in the wrapper of the gar. Fantastic...

Lighters - I have three of the butane lighters I got from Little Havana fueled with his "king" triple filtered butane. IMHO - for less than ten bucks, you can't beat 'em. I have a Nibo three torch (about $20.00) and two of his "Volcano" lighters (both less than ten bucks each) and they work flawlessly.

Ashtray - I recently got a four rest "Stinkey" ash tray and wonder how I got along without it. It is a great piece of hardware, to be sure.

When I "take it on the road" my Xikar and the lighter most recently fuled go in a small leather pouch hanging off my Otterbox. All I need....

Cheers - B.B.S.

I'm so manly, I don't even drink beer. I save up my saliva, spit it in a cup, let it ferment, then drink that!

While it's not really a smoking thing, I save my cigar bands and put them in a large glass jar for artistic purposes.

Spit can be good. I keep bands too and put them up on a tac board. Good hobby.
