ST dupont lighters

I have the red Opus X line 2 and I only use it at home. I love it. It adds a touch of class to my smoking experience.

I received this one as a gift about 4 years ago. It's my favorite lighter, for sentimental reasons, but it rarely leaves the house.

I also carry an eXtend around and like it for a torch.

WOW - now that's my knid of lighter!! very cool.

I have a mid 1980's Gold w/Blue Lac. that my parents bought at an auction...well before I started smoking!
They picked it up for $50 in the mid 1990's...I sent it out for a cleaning and switch to a cigar flame. It works great - but doesn't go out often. The Extend I have works awsome...althougth I keep dropping it and chipping the darn thing. Very efficient(sp) and works wonderful on a windy golf course!!!

How reliable are the Dupont Extend Torches? I have not had very good luck with torch lighters except for my Blazer which is just too bulky.

So far so good.

The best one I had was a freebie for a mail order company..pm me if you'd like ot know more. I would buy that one next...if I need a new lighter. It retails for about $45 was great - until a buddy lost it!!!

My Xtend has been spot on every light. Except after the first refill when I decided to fill it with inferior butane. The Dupont service center in Cranston, RI did a great job of fixing it for free and getting it back to me quickly.

thats one thing i do hear is that to buy a dupont is to have a good lighter for your lifetime and then some assuming you dont lose it.

That is a way cool ashtray!!

That is a way cool ashtray!!

Thanks, it's my favorite. It traveled a long ways in my carry-on luggage. Picked it up at the Tommy Bahama in Maui, used it on the hotel balcony on my wedding night. It then came to Kauai and spent the week on the honeymoon balcony. It's now at my house as my primary ashtray. It wasn't expensive and I'm sure there are thousands of them, but the history makes it my go to ashtray.
