Hogmanay was my favorite as a child though.

The only reason I celebrate Cinco de Mayo is that is my Birthday "eve". I found out early in college that I could party for two days straight and actually have a good reason!

Why are we falling for a BS marketing holiday that has almost nothing to do with this country? I don't give a crap about Bastille Day, or Guy Fawkes Day and those are holidays from countries that had a much more significant impact on the US, why should we care about the 5th of May?
