Hey all,

We've talked alot about these sticks, and the actual retail for them has been discussed a bit as well. Also in my research before this post, I've seen lots of reviews and what folks have paid in their local shops.

So my question is very simple: I can get a full box (20) of the Associate size for $199, total, at my door. Please let me know your opinions on whether or not this is worth pursuing, thanks!

No

I think this because:
- CAO's over are are rolled decently, but there is no line that is constructed supurbly.
- Other than the Brazilia, it is my opinion that all the CAO's are over priced. Not grossly over priced though.
- At $200, there are a shit load of other cigars that are much better. Torano Virtuoso, Don Carlos, AF 858 SG(you'll have to beg borrow or steal, but they can be found), partial box of DC Maximus... you get the picture. You are chasing a name, not something special.

I paid just over $10 for these sticks. Haven't smoked one yet though. Probably an over priced stick but just had to try it.

I would be a better smoke if the price range across the board were dropped my $2 per stick.

I wouldn't get these all the time...for the price.

Smoke wise...it's been pretty nice. No aftertaste, a solid burn and good even flavor.

my 2c!

i agree the CAO line is trying to make itself seem like a high end smoke versus, say a middle of the road smoke. i like the anni cameroons, but i cannot justify the pricing for a so-so cigar. as emo pointed out, for that kind of money, you can certainly have a better constructed and tasty cigar, some ISOM's even for 200 a box. For 10 a stick i would rather smoke an Ashton VSG or cabinet, Padron, etc.

I guess I wasn't clear in my original question. I'm not wondering if these smokes are a good value in general, I'm just wondering if this is a good price on that particular box. I've already gotten past the value thing, and part of the reason I want these is because I like the Sopranos show and value the item as "collectible".

However I do plan on smoking and enjoying all the cigars!

It is a pretty decent price for a box. I know I paid close to 14 bucks for the soldier I bought a while back, and I have not seen them for less than 12. So, decent price for sopranos.

They have them for $12 a stick at my local shop for one and $14 for the Boss.
Haven't smoked one yet, but I did pick one up just to try. I am a big fan of the Brazilia and the Italia lines :D

The box they come in is cool however
