That I understand. I have a Tumi computer briefcase that 10 years ago was about $400. Being a certified, card-carrying cheap bastard, I would never buy it, but found a lightly (almost no) used version on eBay for $99 and snapped it up. There’s a lot of impulse buying out there that people end up undoing. You got a helluva deal.
I just don’t care that much. I have an old HC humidor that I’m sure I got on sale for not too much That works great. The one in the photo above I got in the Philippines filled with cigars, it has sentimental value. I have a wineador. But I’ll stick to tupperdore for any future growth.
It’s not that I don’t like nice humidors, I just don’t have that particular bug. Thankfully. Or cars. Thankfully. Now guns? That’s my impulse buying downfall, but that’s another thread.
