Well as a few of you already know, I finally have started working on my man cave room. The space is being built in what once was a walkout attic over the garage. My intentions are to someday maybe be able to smoke in this room, if the boss allows it. But as for know it will be a space where I can move all my stuff (liquor, cigars, stereo) into. Space is roughly 200sqft. Here is my progress so far…
I started by having a contractor blow in insulation over garage, then I decked the space with 1 1/8” plywood



Next framing and electrical


I got HVAC in place and all my stereo equipment wires from movie room rerouted, because they were just laid across the floor in attic when I started. Nothing like redoing a bunch of work because you didn’t think about future plans. I need to finish insulated the room and I will be ready for drywall.
