Smoked: July 1st
Age: 2.5 years
Stored Humidity 65%
Appearance: Dark Brown, Oily sheen
Smell: Sweet Earth
Pre Draw: Spice
Draw: Tight
Strength: Medium/Strong
Burn: 3/5
Smoke time: 50m
Paired with: Coffee
First third: Getting a lot of salt +++ "Cuban Twang" with a touch of hay and pepper.
Second third: Salt still present, the rest of the flavors are transitioning into a sweet earth / wood.
Last third: No more Salt
Now just Earth and Wood. No more sweetness either.
Flavors were great until the last third. That salty flavor was amazing, the most I have ever tasted in a cigar. The cigar was also really tightly rolled, so I had a lot of burn issues. Will be trying another one in the near future, I will up the score if draw/burn improves.
Final Score: 8.25/10
