Went grocery shopping. Only bought the essentials! Vodka for the wife and liquid campfire for myself 
I really enjoy the HC7 and Anejo, but you can find it cheaper.

Started with a glass of the Dalmore and finished with a pour of Laphroaig 10 while watching the Lions vs Raiders game
I don't like the tequila like aftertaste.
Had a couple of buddies confirm they got the same taste from their bottles as well.

Smooth Ambler Big Level is amazing, not a huge fan of the Contradiction.

I was torn between the two. If the Big Level wasn’t as high a Proof I probably would have gone with that. Their tasting room is really nice. Good selection of Merch too.

Give the Big Level a go, it was probably my favorite bourbon last year. The Smooth Ambler Single Barrel is solid as well.
