Doc that is too funny I just said the same thing to my neighbor. His exact response to me when I said "great more fugging snow" "relax it's only going to be a foot" he says and we both laughted for a min...


Tom I live right on the boader and it has been hell. I just got around to shoveling off my deck for the first time in weeks and the snow was over my railing height...

If it stays this cold till spring the flooding is going to be bad when all this snow melts

And....that is why I am going to a cigar lounge here in a bit.  I am tired of smoking in the garage.  Cold as hell here in Maryland.  How many more days until Spring?

My daughter lives a hundred miles North of me. They don't have as much snow but wind chills tomorrow are supposed to be in the -45F range. This Winter has been a nightmare from my youth where this was pretty much the norm. I remember back in '69 when we got 3ft. in 8hrs.

I'd take the snow over the bitter cold any day! Living in the Rockies we get both! On the plus side it'll only stick around for a couple if days as it's common to have 70°+ weather in Jan and Feb.

This is my wife's weekend rotation. Translation Daddy Daycare. My wife set up a play date yesterday which allowed me to hit a lounge. It was sah-weeet. Woke up this morning to a temp of seven with a wind chill of -16. Not cool. This is the Mid-Atlantic for crying out loud. Anyways... I would like a cigar today. Would love to do a a lounge again today. No chance. so if you are reading this with a cigar in hand....I say Cheers Brother!

My buddy from NJ was visiting.
He decided to go to the Meadows - open farmland near the CT river. Said it would be cool after the storm today.

He got caught in the snow drive...in the middle of the road!!!

I told him I'll pass.
Got a call 30 minutes later.
Lucky a 'tow rig' was around.
