Well, this one is funny. Since Nick will see it when he gets home, I believe this is fair ( Chad already knew this ). Nick is my Xmas kid, but if you don't know, he lives in the Netherlands, so to send him his gift you MUST do a customers form. SO, how do I hide who I am? I didn't have the stones to put Santa as the sender as I didn't want Customs to mess with the package, so I had to fill in My info, hence, Santa had to be Ed. End of mystery Santa.
The fun part. Yesterday I go to get mail and the only thing in the box is a key to the package locker. Open the locker and there is a package, the exact same size box I sent Nick. Pick it up and look at it and on the Customs form all I quickly see is Nick Kann and my name..... but because it was the exact box and taped the same way all I thought I saw was my box being returned. Said out loud, aw shit, how the hell am I going to fix this and get it back to him? I was pissed for the error. Then I did a re-look and saw that it was from Nick, to me. The Wrath of Kann had struck.
Yes, Santa Kann knows how to make you humble and this was no exception. Got to mention one goodie, STROOP waffles, yeah they are famous. Of course there was some "stuff", some sticks ( holy molie sticks ) and more stuff and stuff for the wife. After picking the box clean I just felt blessed to have such a great brother as a friend, and to be remembered more so since this time of year gives you a warm feeling. What can I add but Thank You for your friendship and the goodies. Hope your vacation to volcano land is a great as you hoped. Merry Christmas to you, Liz and the girls.
