Kayakinboy's comments really hit home for me. When I first started, I couldn't help but look at the gifted tuppedor that I received and just admire the cig ars in there. The various bands, sizes, and wrapper colors. I used CBid a lot and receiving a box about every other day was like being a kid and waking up on christmas morning. I would see the P.O. Box filled to capacity and just feel a great rush like someone finding a Mickey Mantle rookie card or something. I also bought a great book on cigars and it's been fun to talk with others about cigars. It's tough to enjoy cigars without others around, though I'm just more into enjoying the moment with others than about examining the cigars as opposed to when I smoke by myself. Unlike baseball cards though, cigars are best shared. I loved trading, group buys, as well as just outright bombing others.

Like the old days of smoking a BIG FATTY........THEY CHILL ME OUT!!!!

Just opening the humi and getting a big wiff settles me down and setting down to burn one takes the edge off the ****tiest day.

As far as gifting and trading and receiving smokes......There is nothing like being gifted a smoke and even better, there is nothing like gifting a smoke to a BOTL that has never smoked your favorite brand or a rare smoke that you have to spare and hearing that he really enjoyed it. This is when I feel you start to "GET IT"!!! And once you get it you never lose it.....it is like being a kid in a toy store.

So screw the baseball cards and the hot wheels and all the other stuff I had when I was a kid.....I should have started trading and smoking cigars when I was 5 years old. They are the only true thing I still have to myself in a house full of girls (wife,2 daughters,2 female dogs, 1 female cat and a single-crazy-mother-in-law across the street) that still give me the joy of the baseball cards and hot wheels I had as a kid.

There are quite a few BOTL here that I have bombed and been gifted cigars by, that I know "GET IT" and they are the Bros that make cigarpass KICK MUCH A$$!!!!

Well, gotta go open the humi, take a big wiff and pull out something good to burn,....been playing PS2 with my 7 year old all day and it is way past time to CHILL OUT!!!

Same reason I love women.. find a good one that tastes good and you have satisfaction for ever!

Well Matt, I hope my computer monitor isn't put off by the Coke I just spit on it!

It is definately one thing that let's me put away all in my life that is not as important as I have let become.Just sitting back and letting the mind wonder and it has a way of going to the real important stuff. Collecting them like baseball cards is cool too. They always said the difference between boys and men is the price of their toys.
