Who was that masked humidor builder?

A good while back I was cruising around the boards and saw where a guy builds his own humidors. Very, very nice humidors. He posted a ton of pics of em on his post if I recall.

I'm trying to find that guy so I can ask him about his plans. My brother is going to build me one for xmas but wants a little guidance. I loved that guy's stuff and wanted to copy it.

I remember 2 of them were cabinet display style and 2 were made with custom cigar band pattern lids that he did himself with his wife.

Ring a bell anybody?

I'll post this in the humidor section too but more people read here.

Couldn't find mention of it in my search.

Thanks,

Clark

Damn Wade, I never saw those untill now, some damn fine work there.

Kinda sounds like me!
Outstanding!!! I read that post and looked at the work. I realize thats its just a box to start with but were you using any particular plans to base them off of? Them things are beautiful!!!
Not really any plans, I've built a LOT of boxes, so this was just a bigger one with tighter tolerances and a few more layers of wood. Really pretty straight forward, but still a lot of work.

What do you know about dovetails? I am having trouble setting mine to correct depths to get tight fits. I am using a craftsman router but the bit is china made so I think that might be a problem. I am on my way to get the "recommended" bit, lets see what happens. I might have to go to the rockler set up with dovetail jig to get what I am after but.......................anything will help.

I use the Leigh dovetail jig, a little more expensive, but it produces great results. Never skimp on a router bit.

I could build a whole walk in humidor before I would ever be able to make one of those nice little humidors. I saw the thread where these pics were posted and I was also very impressed. It is some fine craftmanship for sure!
