Who can tell me a bit about nasal snuff?

The tobacco product, not the obscure Belgian fetish porn . . .

I've gotten curious (via some antique snuff boxes for sale on 1st Dibs that got me thinking "how come you never hear about that stuff anymore?") but dipping my toes into Google brought me TOO much info and nothing in the way of sorting it all out.

Anyone here have a sniff of snuff from time to time?

I fixed your quote.

I use it. I like it pretty strong. Only the menthols. I don't like any of the fruits, etc.
I rarely use it and mostly when I have a headache. I do like it.
My favorite is:

LOWEN-PRISE
aromatisch-frisher Snuff

I might try some Anise my next order, which will most likely be in over a year. It lasts me a long time.

Anise sounds nice. Not into fruit or menthol. I was looking at some of the traditional tobacco flavored ones from Europe on a vendor site, and the descriptions, at least, were kind of intriguing.

It's not terribly expensive. I guess I should just order about 3-5 different ones and see.

Vuelta Arriba is the region for snuff leaves in Cuba. So if you are ever in the area, do a tour of the farms. John
