Which do you think is better

All I can tell you is.... Go much bigger than you think. ;)

My first humi was the same size and it only lasted a month. Had to upgrade and get another one. Then I outgrew that one and had to get a 300 count.

<-- 300 count humi, 100 qt cooler & small fridgedor

I agree that you should look into a larger humi but if you have your heart set on one of those two, take the first one.

I like the looks of the first one better, but like the others...size definitely matters  , so I'd go as big as you can.

Thanks for all the input! I will take everyones advice and get a larger humidor. My real question is about quality of the humidor as I want to make sure I have a good seal and solid construction.

Are the humidors at Cheaphumidors.com and Bargainhumidors.com of that high quality? The prices sure seem reasonable but I wouldn't mind paying a little more if I am getting better quality and something that will last me a long, long time. Thanks again for any input...

A desk top humidor is fine to start out with for loose sticks but if you are like most of us you will start getting boxes. A coolerdor is a great route to go if you plan on storing boxes. A fridgeador is better.

I have one of theese, and couldn't be happier - well I could, if it was full of Anejo's ;)

I like the aerospace rule. Engineer for the worst case, then double (tighten) the tolerances. For cigars, I'd triple it. If you think 100 will do, buy for 300.

edit: Rob, did you use that spell checker? Theese?

Igwana - That's funny you mention the Vicksburg from Bargainhumidors.com. I just ordered the same one this afternoon. Was going to get the Gettysburg which is the next size down but figured for $20 more I would bump the space up by almost 50%. I ordered the Viper Beads (1/2 pound) as well...
