I only had one Opus X, which was during the boom and it was fake. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get these cigars for a reasonable price? I appriciate the help.

If it was fake, I guess that you still haven't had one yet. :D

Try trading for one on the trade forum.

Trading, and watching the retail sections for people selling is the best way (there are a number of members who work in cigar stores and they will usually announce when they get a shipment in)

Try local shops, they will get them two or three times a year. Get on a mailing list if they have one.

You can find them online, however these are not authorized Opus X distributors/dealers, hence you will pay a hefty premium for them.

Or you can get lucky and find someone willing to part with a couple in the for sale section of this board. But don't be surprised or offended if you have to pony up your end first, since you're new.

Yahoo Auctions has a lot. Do any of you FOGs reccomend buying from Yahoo Auctions? Why or Why Not?

Absolutely not. The prices are 3x MSRP or more.

Thanks Moki for the advice about Yahoo !!!

I just play the waiting game for these. When I went to Casa Fuente I picked up some. I am still in search of a full box purchase. it is not easy.

Just got a few boxes of Opus X at my cigar store. However, that is in Phoenix, AZ. I picked up a few for storage. ;)

A couple of the stores I frequent have them. Although they are too expensive for an everyday smoke for me.

Will Casa Fuente sell boxes of Opus? If so how much?

If they do (i'm pretty sure they do) it'd be too much ;)

Casa Fuente always has them. However, the prices are too high unless you're comparing to other Vegas retailers.

Yah... Casa Fuente is very expensive. Very good selection though. I'll give you the greatest deal of all...I'll sell you the book of matches they gave me for $13. Anyone want in on it??? :whistling: Seriously!

I'm not joking...

Ree,

There is one on Main St., that has a pretty good selection albeit small, but they can gouge the prices up pretty high because of the tourists.

Another one is a bit further from the beach, it is on Goldenwest right between MacFadden and Bolsa Ave., it has a good, large selection and solid prices like 1 or 2% above MSRP.

If you make it over to South Coast Plaza, check out the Crystal Court which is right across the street, solid shop with MSRP prices and a huge selection of very good cigars.

Ya, I was out there in March and stopped by the Davidoff store. They wanted like $35 for a No. 5. :0

My cigar store has three boxes. Limit 2 sticks per day. They ship. PM if your interested.
