Major shopping day for me.
Had to take a long drive to Tobacco Road, but dang if they didn't have the whole batch of stuff.
So I says to myself, self, why would you drive 25 miles for one cigar? Can do that; so I went shopping and came up with the following:
Illusione MJ12
Fuente Hemingway Signature
Hoyo Dark Sumatra (had this today - did not care for it, no comparison to the Excal 1971). Thanks to all for trying to help me find the Excal. 1971 edition.
Hoyo 1066 Dark Knight
Hoyo Excalibur III Maduro
Hoyo Legend Challenger
Punch Rare Corojo Magnum
Hoyo De Mont Rothschild EMS
What I am trying to do is find what tastes good (that's the idea, right) and eliminate what doesn't.
For my local, this place and another (En Fuente) which is about 45 miles from me have a super store and great stock. The folks are social and they will even give you an honest opinion about quality.
So I had a good time, really didn't spend much money ($51 total) and had some fun.
*** What makes this too funny is our weather. Yesterday was rain, tomorrow starts with rain and sleet and then changes in snow, and for Dallas, that is equivalent to you finding bugs in your gars. We will go insane, but we will still drive at 70 mph and wreck out. Smart azz me, I got wood and gars, so I can wait it out.
