what is your favorite wrapper

Figured now is good time to do these questions with the secret santa thing about to kick off. I was a big fan of natural but lately im leaning more towards maduro or sungrown still need to try the candela.

I like all three about equally, depends on the brand of the cigar.

I can't wait to try the candelas when they arrive though.

50 cent. It used to be Run DMC, but they just didn't glorify violence enough.

Honestly, the padron Maduro is my favorite, but really, the wrapper makes a huge difference, but I wouldn't want a padron maduro wrapped around an ERDM Choix, it would destroy it...it depends on the cigar, and on the experience I am looking for.

Depends on the cigar...some brands have fantastic maduros, some dont. But its pretty safe to say that i normally prefer maduro or cameroon wrappers to most others.

Ditto - depends on the cigar. However, I tend to like more with the cameroon wrapper (but again, that's not always the case)

Prefer the SunGrown followed by a nice, spicey Cameroon.

For non-cuban smokes I like Cameroon. Not sure if the wrapper is the major factor or not, but it seems like the majority of the non-Cuban smokes I enjoy are Cameroon wrapped. (CAO Cameroon, Original Partagas, Hemmingway, Don Carlos.)

Oh, the days of Partagas Blacks. I bought a box a year ago for the hell of it (never had tried them before). Well, after doing that, I now exercise much greater control on what boxes I buy (only cigars I KNOW that I really like). Those sticks taste like your smoking tire rubber and exhaust - not for me!

You gotta be one who loves full-bodied cigars to like those - not saying they are bad smokes, just not for me. I recently ridded my last of them from my humi in a trade.

Depends...maduro mostly but I really like Sun Grown and then sometimes Cameroon and then sometime Rosado.
