Anyone seen/tried this before? I'm not sure what it is:

I believe that's a "Curly Head". I also think they are short filler. Never had one but it might be a very good $2.00 +/- smoke.....

I second the Brevas. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the curly head comes with a band around it.

Or I curly head deluxe! lol, I don't remeber. they run 1.85 and are an alright everyday cigar. Smoke it and review!
 
ok i cant see the picture but,curly heads have no band it has a. fuente in white lettering on the cello.
curly head deluxe nat/mad has a red band that says a fuente.

brevas i beleive have a cheateau band,black red and green at the bottom
 
I've smoked one of these before, I see them at cigar shops all the time, a coworker smokes them exclusively. I was under the impression they were called special selection?

Cheapest Fuente they make. Pretty sure it's short filler.
That said, for a cheapie I would def smoke one of these over a White Owl.

I just saw these yesterday...it's a Curly Head Deluxe. Not a Brevas. For sure.

I bought three yesterday for $1.10 a pop. They are the Brevas. The Curly heads were $2.30 and a darker shade of wrapper than the Brevas.

My basic opinion is it is a Swisher Sweet without that tangy taste that comes with the Swisher wrapper. It was a cheap 30min. pre-dinner smoke for me. I also bought extras because some of my friends like to smoke cigars, but they are fond of the Walgreen's GarciayVega's and I figured Id give them something just a shade of a step up.
 
What is the length of these? The Brevas and the Spanish Lonsdale both look like that, same band and both are the same ring gauger, but the lonsdale is and inch longer (5.5 and 6.5 inches respectively).
 
Last post...the Curly Head Brevas and the Curly Head Reserve both have the same band. The Brevas in shorter. The Reserve is longer than the Brevas. :0
