One of you bastids out there bombed me with this cigar quite a while ago and I just smoked it on the beach last Saturday and enjoyed it. Not too complex and it didn't have an 'in your face' strong flavor...just kind of mellow and tasty, a medium smoke at best. It was a petite corona in size and I hope one of you guys can identify it.

Thanks guys....

ETA: yes, that is the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle on the band.

Yep. I got a box from Eric at Jack Schwartz if you're looking for a CP vendor.

Thanks guys...I think it's definitely a box worthy purchase, and it's only in boxes of 10.

Gary, I got a box when they came out. When I smoked a couple of them I got different tastes, all good, but different.

What size did you buy Ian?

Corneta
I spoke with Kevin, from Buttheads, and he thinks they have different fillers. If you look at them they kind of look different, but I can't really tell.
Let me know what you think if you get a box.

Ian

I got a ten pack (box) of those too Gary. Like a Perla. I should smoke another one. I think that is the one where they don't divulge the tobacco origins, etc.
I also believe that the blend will change, i.e., the point is to be adventurous, and stop getting wrapped around the tobaccos. I could be wrong on that account.
Let us know if you buy more, which ones, and how you like them....and then if the blend is going to change, anything you say may or may not apply to what we get. ha!

That's the weird shaped one I think...

Truth be told, I thought this was a CAO cigar (based on the band) or something similar which is why I had it sitting around so long without smoking it. So when I lit it up on the beach, I didn't have any great expectations going into it. Then, as I smoked it, it kept grabbing my attention as the taste was something I enjoyed...but I was in denial that a CAO cigar could do that!

This all makes sense now. Then I read what Danny wrote about the blend changing periodically and now I'm totally confused as to whether I should order a box!

What should I do? Tough life, huh?

ETA: I'm worthless & weak...I just ordered a box of the petites.

You know Gary, that's the part of this hobby that is tough.  You try a smoke, love it and look for more. Then the box you buy doesn't compare to the single you smoked.  I've sure gifted a few like that.

I hear ya' Steve, God knows we've all felt that pain at one time or another...but should that happen again, it'll only hurt 40 dollars worth this time!

Gary, one of the most memorable cigars I ever smoked was a CAO Extreme. They were discontinued years ago. I think it was a Nic Puro. I had a churchill, and it was amazing! Super complex with each nuance fantastically delicious. I was truly sad when it was done. I never, ever, after about 30 more, got that same experience from them again. Not even close. Who knows?

These Quesada's are probably going to be the same in such a way that we may not be able to re-live something special.
Good thing they come in boxes of ten for those we hate. Less of a loss. I will say that I have always like Manny's smokes. Nothing that ever made me drool, but always smokable, enviably consistent, and great construction. I also like the fact that he often offers a perla size.

I love the little Cameroon "Vegas de Fonseca" jobs, like a petite beli, perla deal. Cant for the life of me find any lately. The big ones were just good, but that lil guy was super, and a box was like 40 bucks.
