WHAT IS THE BEST CIGAR THAT YOU EVER SMOKED???

Padron Magnum. 9"x50 of outstanding cigar. i've had 3 of these in my life. each one is pure heaven.

I have had too many great cigars to really pin down one favorite, so I'll pick two or three. :) About a year ago I had a RyJ Celestial Fino from a 3 pack that was from the middle 1980's. It was at the time the best smoke bar none that I had ever had. It was at the SoCal herf of 2000 and was a gift from poker. Well, this year he had to celebrate the "anniversary" of my smoking one last year and offered me his last one. A single year has added so much to that cigar. It was a wonderful smoke that went very well with the Cubita coffee I was throwing back constantly and the viewing of Blade on the theatre system. Those two smokes were rivaled that weekend though. IT was a Toboada robusto that is at the top of the favorite smokes list. This cigar was such a beauty that it pained me to burn it away. Flawless construction and a pre-light aroma that was just divine. It hurt, but it was clipped and lit. I can not describe in words how wonderful this smoke was. Just hope that someday I'll be able to try another. I do have one Salomones that I am saving, but this robusto was the best.
Now if we're talking cigars that are still being produced (the RyJ Celestial Finos are not the same in recent production, i.e. new blend)....the all around favorite is the Bolivar Corona Gigante, bar none.
Long-winded but to the point I think. :)

The best cigar I ever smoked was the 50+ year old ISOM that I was gifted at my wedding. It wasn't exactly in its prime, but I think the fact that it was smoked on such a special occasion with all of my friends and family and of coarse my wife that made it such a great experience.

well i would say blue dragons but that would be rude so ill say the LGC maduro love those things :)

In all honesty I would have to say the last one I smoked was the best I ever had. The one I will have tonight might top that one though. LOL :)
In my opinion I have had some fantastic smokes and some poor ones but the mood and the company always sets the tone for a smoke. One smoke with my wife or father could be the best I've had the same smoke with my Boss could suck a&#36&#36 for me, although the first 1993 R&J romeo #2 ISOM that I ever had was a darn fine smoke!

The best cigar Ive ever had is an Ashton cabinet vintage selection with a col. wrapper. Smooth and cool, draw was PERFECT and every cigar in the box burned even. Could smoked it down to my lips.

Sam, A ryJ exhibition #4 with some age on them are outstanding. I had one from smokey Mo as well and I cant think of many that would even come close to the flavors that cigar exhibited. A cohiba robusto with 3 years on it was another fav. A diplomatico #2 also from Smokey mo was another outstanding cigar. You may pay a bit more for his stuff but you will never be dissapointed!! Everything from him has always been the best quality. If i had millions Id buy everything in his humi!!

I do not think I would agree with the statement  that there are only seven members on the CP site, that have smoked really outstanding and memorable cigars. I know of a few members here that have smoked truly world class cigars on this site. I could name quite a few myself, that were simply superb. The question, as I read it was " What is the best cigar that you have ever smoked???". The best cigar? That is the one I am always searching for. And in a way, I hope I never find it, IMHO.

OK, here goes..not too far out in right field I hope. I'm still pretty new at this and I haven't tried but 50 or so different smokes. I stay under &#3610 in my trials while regularly herfing AF DChateau Maddies and on occasions when I know I won't have to put it out, the Padron Magnum. Maybe some of the 200+ members, like me, haven't tried the smokes with 6 words in their names (my attempt at sarcasm). I dunno, but IMHO, it's the Padron Mag.P.S. If you ever wanna get a newbie hooked, my brother came back from San Juan with a Dominican box of Don Guillermo Vanilla's. They're hard as heck to find, but it is by far, the best 'flavored' cigar I've ever smoked. Every time I strike one up in a crowd, at least 3 or 4 folks come and ask what kind it is...first time they smelled a cigar they liked.

Hey Sam,Yes, I do recognize sarcasm when I hear or read it. Lets take a wild guess as to the meaning. An insulting or mocking statement or remark. I think that about covers it, don't you?
Personally, I think you would have received many more responses to your question, if you had asked what the members five favorite cigars were, or maybe even ten. I have smoked quite a few cigars in my life, and I just cannot pick one, as the all time best. And I would think a lot of people would have the same problem. But, who knows, maybe that is just me.Well, you have a very smart little birdie there my man. Does he do any tricks?
Yes, there is a possibility I do know where there are a few select  pre-embargo cigars. I would hate to see you lower yourself smoking Davidoff's, 1994's, 1492's and Dunhill's. Maybe you would enjoy something more on the lines of a Clos Vougeot in it's own coffin?(Edited by Devin Cole at 6:04 pm on Aug. 6, 2001)

Well, I've smoked about 200, plus or minus 100, cigars in my day and I'd have to say the best was a '97 Don Dogrocketo...ok really an aged Monte #2. That could be overtaken by the Padron Magnums everyone is talking about or a beautiful Saint Luis Ray SAMMY sent me! My 2 possible best cigars have come (or are comming) from YOU Sam. You da man!

Sam,It is also my pleasure to meet you.If your birdie is who I think it is, you are a very lucky man indeed. I am very honored to call him my friend. Please feel free to contact me, if you have any questions, or are in need of any assistance. And please remember, the only bad question, is the one that is not asked. But, I will tell you, the best cigar that I have smoked in the last six months was a Dunhill Havana Club.Devin

The best cigars I have smoked in the last 6 months have been Devins! :> LOL I have had some great cigars lately....it is tough to say THIS IS THE BEST. It seems to me to be almost like meals...who are you eating with. where are you at, and who are you with....all these things factor in......short answer though.....a Monte "A" from 1979......oh man.

Hey Rob,Lets not forget to let the others know, that you have sent me some truly outstanding cigars also. LOLBTW, I am in the planning stages for the next blinder.
