What do you think on this one?

If you want a humidor that will hold 50 cigars you need to get a 75 to 100 ct. humidor. A 50 ct. humidor is not going to hold an actual 50 cigars unless the cigars are all a very small size.

Stay away from anything with glass at that price point. Usually they leak through the seal that is used with the glass. YMMV

One of my humidors is a 100 ct w/ a glass top. No issues for over a year. If you do a search on how to fix & seal the glass "IF" it is leaking. One BOTL used his kids braces wax and that fixed his problem.

Yes, at first I could fit 100 sticks in it, but quickly learned that you can not stuff it as the air & Rh levels will not be constant throughout even though it is small, especially if there is a tray.

EDIT: Once again today - thumbs in the way!!!!

That is a good price for a small humidor, but my thought process is GO BIG OR DON'T GO. If you adopt this hobby you will need more and more of the small ones.

I agree!!! trust me - after a couple tupperdors and humidors, I finally cashed in all my bonds my wife doesn't know about and bought a vinotemp! I'm still gettin in trouble! But like she always tells me - "Bigger is better!"

OK, thanks for the tips.
Looks like I will look for a bigger one.
Is there any other safe site that ship worldwide ?
I mean other then cheaphumidors and Amazon.

Try Cuban Crafters. Link
They have good prices on humidors with small defects.

I would just skip the humidor and use a large tupperware or build a cooliodor.

True Dat!

 At our level, it is not fair to say don't buy a humidor at all, just buy a big garage made out of cedar with humidifiers all over

we are addicts....sweet sweet addicts.

Will it hold 50 cigars Double Coronas?

Also are you sure that the humidors have small defects?
I didn't find any sign of that. ???

They have a special section dedicated to imperfects that have small defects Link.
However it seems like most of them are out of stock. I purchased a humidor from them a while back that supposedly had a defect for 60% less. I'm still loooking for the defect!

If you do not choose functionality over appearance by choosing coolidor (an inexpensive yet efficient storage method) you might look on the sites mentioned above, but also on, gulp, errr, uggghh, cbid (I know, I know) for a good deal, but you have to know what you are looking for and the freemarket price to determine if the deal is good or not.

I've have a glass top humi for 6-7 years and it holds the humidity just fine, but that 120 count humi looks good for $70! One thing to keep in mind, e-mail them and see if the humidification brick is the 6.6 inches wide, 2.5 inches in height and a .75 inch depth one...if so, you can swap it out for THIS one. The water absorbing foam is the weak link to any humidor...if you can get a quality device in the beginning, you'll never have to worry about drastic fluctuations in moisture ever again.

Good Luck

The photos shown are all generic. They don't post photos of the exact one with the defect.
